Dental Orthodontics
Not Just A Cosmetic Treatment
The Dr William Protocol
Braces are a great way to improve the appearance of your smile, allowing you to gain the confidence you deserve. The Dr William protocol will deliver the results you are seeking.
Dr William does offer braces as a stand alone treatment (if you require that we can refer you to a specialist Orthodontist). rather, we offer braces as a part of a holistic cosmetic dentistry solution, which may include veneers, crowns, bridges, implants or laser gum therapy.
After undertaking a 2 year post graduate Orthodontics course in Melbourne, as well as multiple seminars on braces technology, Dr William was still less than satisfied with the final results, fees and time frames of conventional braces.
Most Orthodontists have you in braces for many years and fees are between 10 to 13 thousand dollars. In the pursuit of fast accurate and affordable cosmetic results with braces, the Dr William protocol was developed. Created and used by Dr William alone, the protocol delivers unexpectedly quick and accurate results.
The Dr William Protocol allows for fast Orthodontic outcomes (maximum of 3 months) at very reasonable prices.
Our fees are generally $3500 per arch (an arch is a set of top or of bottom teeth).
The fees are paid over the course of your treatment, allowing the treatment to be more affordable.
Below is the sequence of photos taken in the dental rehabilitation of the lady in the video above.

Reimagination (recreation) of a failed attempt to create gap closure with veneers.
Reimagination (recreation) of a failed attempt to create gap closure with braces-orthodontics and composite veneers.
Young female patient originally had a large gap between two upper central incisors. Gaps were closed by another dentist using poor materials and a general lack of attention to details and finishing.

Composite 3D smile design to show potential achievable results.
Old composite veneers removed revealing patient’s natural teeth-that is the teeth as they were prior to having her gaps closed.
You will notice the upper right central incisor hangs low and displays too much gum tissue.

After laser gum surgery on the upper right front tooth and adjacent lateral incisor, the gum line is now even as per photo.
Conventional braces ‘orthodontics’ places to help close spaces and perfectly position teeth for the final result.
Invisalign was offered as an option however, the patient preferred braces due to lower cost and greater speed. (approximately 2 weeks to close gaps)

Whilst braces are still on, 2 weeks later, teeth are now evenly spaced to receive cosmetic dentistry.
After braces have been removed, teeth are more ideally positioned to receive veneers with the size of gap dramatically reduced.
This allows teeth to be the perfect width, unlike as in photo 1 where the two front teeth were excessively widened to ‘close the gap’.

AFTER

Photograph showing the results after composite veneers have been placed on the upper, the lower teeth have been whitened and the lower incisal edges adjusted to provide a more pleasant display of the lower front teeth.
These changes improve the entire smile, by achieving perfectly proportioned teeth. Overall an excellent result!
