CEREC and E max

One of the most utilised machines in our practice is our CEREC machine. Cerec can be used to manufacture precisely fitting,very strong and beautiful crowns, porcelain veneers, porcelain onlays and porcelain inlays. Once your tooth has been prepared, it is coated with a tasteless, completely safe, reflective powder, allowing a tiny laser camera to display a 3D computerised image of your tooth and proposed restoration on a monitor.

Through Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacture (CAD/CAM) technology, industrial diamond milling arms then precisely sculpt a solid block of high quality ceramic while you lay back and relax in our dental chair.

Having the latest MC XL CEREC machine, enables the Classic Smiles team to create and place your new crown in a single appointment. Crowns would normally be made in a dental laboratory, requiring moulds of your teeth and gums and would  take up to two weeks or more to manufacture.
